Not spending an extra minute to give a synopsis of what's the reasons for what's being shown, not having any sort of voice over, nor posting links to more in depth videos or Gitlab's documentation on this feature is extremely low effort and pathetic. The only reason I know what's going on is because I have been looking at this exact feature the past but for internal/private CI components.

Hi, I believe the project has been broken for a while, and I haven't been able to apply the concept seen in this video. The group variables with environment scoping on the subgroup are kind of acting out... I have 2 patterns I'm testing `production/site*` and `production/sit*`, but the order doesn't seem to prefer `production/site*` all the time... I don't understand the rule of selection as to why the second one (`production/sit*`) would be chosen over the first one (`production/site*`) although I run the same job... Could you enlighten me ?
